Our Story
The foundation of Creatie Art is deeply connected to the roots of Dutch abstraction. Important postwar artist groups such as Vrij Beelden and Creatie (1945–1955) shaped the early development of abstract art in the Netherlands. At the same time, Paris played a leading international role with the “New Paris School.” These artistic movements became the starting point for our gallery’s vision and collection focus.

Passion for Abstraction
The artists of this period were inspired by beauty in form and color, aiming to evoke emotion and create a meaningful experience for the viewer. Their pioneering works continue to influence and inspire today’s contemporary artists. At Creatie Art, we honor this tradition while curating a selection of both historical and contemporary works.

From Collectors to Dealers
Art is never permanently possessed — it passes from artist to collector, from one generation to the next. Guided by this dynamic and our passion for abstraction and beauty, we transitioned from collectors to art dealers in 2006. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to connecting art lovers and collectors with unique modern and abstract works.
